COVID-19 Update

You are here

For most theatres, our auditoriums have not seen an audience since March 2020.

While a few theatres in Cenla and around the country have begun offering socially distanced performances, City Park Players' stage has remained closed. Here at CPP, the health and safety of our patrons and volunteers is a top priority. As such, we have been following CDC guidelines as we make decisions about restarting events in the next several months. Currently, the Rapides Foundation continues to temporarily suspend all activity at the Hearn Stage/Kress Theatre. This closure is in effect until further notice.

Our directors, actors, board members, and backstage volunteers are looking forward to the return of live theatre, and eagerly anticipating our return.

Thank you for your support as we all navigate through these uncertain times. The show will go on–eventually!
